Each has completed their own Umrah and fulfils all scholarly conditions for Badal. They enter Ihram and make the intention specifically in the name of your loved one.

Yes โ Umrah Badal is valid for a living person who is unable to perform Umrah themselves due to terminal illness, extreme old age, or permanent disability that prevents travel. The majority scholarly opinion requires the inability to be permanent rather than temporary.
General duas are always made โ for Allah's mercy, forgiveness, elevation in rank and admission to Jannah. If you have specific duas you would like recited, write them in the order form and they will be made during the Umrah.
No. This service is for Umrah only (the lesser pilgrimage), which can be performed at any time of year. Hajj Badal is the proxy Hajj performed during the days of Hajj only and is a separate, more involved service. If you need Hajj Badal, please contact us directly.
Umrah Badal can only be performed on behalf of a Muslim. The intentions, rituals and rewards are specific to those who live or passed away as believers. If you have questions about a specific situation, please contact us.
If the deceased had financial means but did not perform Hajj or Umrah, scholars hold that it is a debt to be discharged by the heirs. Umrah Badal fulfils a voluntary Umrah on their behalf; for an unfulfilled obligatory Hajj, you would need Hajj Badal.
